Well we are in Lisbon awaiting our flight to Porto. I think the most traumatic part of this trip is the last hour I spent trying to get connected to the internet, however, Dale would argue it was the hour he spent at the gate in Raleigh making sure Patricia could make it into this country thanks to a name error on her ticket...but we all made it. The photo was taken by a very nice young lady at the Raleigh/Durham airport so we could have a group photo before we left (I also think we knew we would not want to take a group shot when we got here after several hours on a plane with few moments of sleep).
We are five hours ahead of our normal time zone, which has us a little giddy right now. However, I must say the sunrise over the wing of the aircraft was picture perfect and commercial worthy.
We are thinking of everyone back home and we are looking forward to sharing our adventures as we continue forward.

I can tell from the photo that Portugal will never be the same! I'm glad you all made it and very excited about you all being there. I will definitely visit your blog to stay current on what's happening.
